I actually know a girl online who worked on one of those sites when she was younger. I met her on Atari Teenage Riot forum ages ago, but we kept contact over the years over IM and etc, and she told me some pretty fucked/sad story about those things.
Most of those euro webcam girls are all from Romania and the czech republic where *anything goes* when it comes to that kind of jobs. They are usually working 15+ hours a day in those studios since they have to fill up quotas to get paid anything, and they get money taken off for everyday that goes by until they fill back the minimum to get paid again.
She told me of girls ending up with 100$ for 30 days of non stop work; so those studios are laughing all the way to the bank. The girls are stuck doing crazy hours, and some of them even live there full time, start doing drugs so they can be up more, etc. That chick was probably passed out from having worked so much.
The other sad fact is that this kind of job is popular as fuck over there since like 300$ a month is considered pretty good pay -- so those girls have an unlimited pool of girls ready to do whatever. So they get stuck into that world; and many of those girls just drop-out eventually, but many of them end-up completly addicted to the lifestyle (the popular girls get an epic fuckload of money), or the attention; but when they start aging or when that lifestyle starts to get a toll on their body, some of them go batshit insane.
While its pretty lol that this guy randomly stumbled upon a camgirl sleeping on the job, its hard to laugh at the girls.. some of these girls are really, really desperate and sad.
