I want to know how much you'd pay for Alexandrites if you wanted to upgrade a Nyzul Weapon.

Bearing in mind that you require 30k, and unlike Dynamis where you can sponser the run, everyone effectively puts something (Assault points) into it.

10k is unreasonable... 10k x 30k = 300,000,000 gil.

So if you had to pay for Alexandrites, how much would you pay..?

well we have to see drop rate too. right now people going for 10k a piece because so few drop per run compared to dyna currency.

I'm betting the 30k pieces gets nerfed again, that said, i wouldn't pay over 5k, but even then, looking at 30k pieces, its completely unrealistic.

its still early some ppl laugh at that
but most bust player understand that 30000X2000 = 60 millions
baught 37 so far + jut got 17 from a cotton coin purse /drool

best to jus spam bosses i think, say average 75 per pouch..

30000/75 = 400

so from just farming, you can get a relic in under 2 years (not including how much u get from other drops etc)

Its extremely hard to find any justification for pooling, when there is no entry cost that one person can front.

So far, out of 6 boss fights after the patch, we have had 1 large pouch drop. Even if you did find some justification for pooling and giving them all to one person, it would still take you about 6 years to farm them all. You really have no option but to buy them from others.

If the cost of a Zilart relic is still around 100M, then alexandrite should go for about 3.3K each. Now you just need to convince everyone else to sell them at that price and raise 100M in this shitty economy. The price may eventually come down to about 1K each when people realize a Zilart relic is now about 50M, but that may take a few years.

I suspect this quest is similar to the WS quest where the cost comes down as you fill in the quest book. Either that or SE will lower the cost again.

That would have been cool. However SE decided to make both old and new relics powerless when used offhand.

I think this may be the first time SE has ever given anyone a "Get Out Of Timesink Activity Free" card.
