Gauntlet legends for PC? think I played that, had a funny/annoying wizard that had catchphrases??

I dont think I'd compare it to that though from what I remember, but diablo is really awesome

I'm on West. Idk why since I'm in NY. When is the next ladder reset? I might make a new character but if the reset is soon I'm gonna wait.

That was just my first one that I liked. Downloading Mass Effect 2 now. I'm late on the PC bandwagon but I always respected people with gaming PCs. Just Cause floored me at the framerate it plays at vs the consoles.

I was even able to play two games at one time lol. Viva La PC gaming!

Mass Effect2 everything maxed 60fps stable, 1680x1050 (my monitor res). Going to try Crysis demo later. This is awesum! This game looks so good.

I really suck with mouse and keyboard. Everything is so twitchy, I can see where the added control is, and how easy it is to point at something vs analogs but doing stuff like hold right click to zoom then line up and press left click screws with me. Maybe I need a actual gaming mouse.

I can't play games with keyboard/mouse, I blame this deficiency on playing consoles since I was like 7.
Anyways keyboard/mouse blows because you can't kick back and play, you gotta be all hunched over your situation. fk that!

I think I found a new hobby. Overclocking. I'm at the point where I probably wouldn't mind if I fry my graphics card because of messing with it's clocks. It's like tuning a car for max hp or something. Cooling, turbo, fuel injection, drive shaft, piston, port polishing, piston, drive shaft, port polishing, thrusting, fuel injection.

lol sorry about that.

Anyway I think I like the whole overclocking scene on the interwebs. It's kinda fascinating what people do to get better performance just because. I was looking at this box mine came in (looks like something from a high end chocolate box with bows and stuff) and thought about how some guy collect arcade sticks as a hobby (works for madcatz which makes controllers). Then I thought, I could maybe buy multiple graphics cards just to mess with and the boxes!

I'm going crazy.

All the games I threw at this PC play very well. I put crysis on max everything and it's like at around 15-20ish fps (1080p) though, playable but the much nicer at High settings with maybe a max setting in one or two things. Got my new HDD in and forgot to reinstall fraps.

So my card was already "overclocked" at 700MHz core, 1400MHz shaders, and 1840 memory clocks. I got them to 900 core, 1800 shaderz, 2000 mem. I have no idea what they effected but it was a interesting process to do. I'm not touching the cpu. I really hate applying thermal paste to those, and having to re apply if I screw up while it's in the tower. Much easier to do when the motherboard is out of the case.

I have 2 1TB hard drives now hah. Will I never need a hdd again? I don't even need to erase stuff I guess. Nothing will ever be in the way due to space. One is a external I had and didn't really find a use for. Got this one because it's among the fastest and I shouldn't need to upgrade it anymore. Well not until Solid State Drives become more mainstream. Games load very fast, especially coming from playing on consoles. Watch a vid of someone playing mass effect 2 on console in the ship going from one floor to another and compare it to the PC.

Why am I talking so much? Backing up game installs to the other hdd and I'm up late.

Oh did I tell you guys about the student discount on Win 7 professional? $30 for it instead of $90ish. Sweden and other places might get them free though.
