Did some digging, for some reason I was under the impression that LA was the last surviving area on earth. I only saw the TV spots before this youtube vid and the history about this movie. Makes me want to see the movie now. Anyway there are others.

I think whoever makes a story picture their area as the center and to them it would be interesting if their home was the one to survive. You'd hope that if the whole world were to be destroyed that somehow your home was able to survive. Anyway it's just idea of one artist/creator. It will probably be taken off store shelves if they still sell the video though.

This just in:

Disaster Report 4 or whatever (the game that was supposed to release soon) has been canceled.

Motorstorm 4 Apocalypse is delayed in Europe, and won't be sold in Japan. It's a car racing game with earthquakes and buildings collapsing all around to provide challenging obstacles.

There's more games being canceled or delayed as well.
