In the upcoming version update, we plan to introduce a multitude of items and synthesis recipes that will open the door to new weapons and armor with graphics unlike anything you've ever seen before!
We will also be giving players another chance to obtain the rewards from selected quests and missions they have already completed.



New Items
Here is a selection of the new weapons and armor to be found in the next version update. How will these powerful items be obtained, and what wondrous properties will they possess...?



Existing Rewards
In answer to requests from many players, a number of rewards will once again become available. This change will be put into effect for selected quests and missions with multiple reward choices, such as Divine Might, Apocalypse Nigh, and the Chains of Promathia storyline.

We hope that players who have accidentally discarded a valuable item or those who wish to change their choice of reward will take full advantage of this opportunity!

i think i'll get a suppa now just for the sword skill, (for cor and rdm) but i'd like to be able to use a bushi too in the future when sam is done D;


also that heavy armor looks pretty cool.. and reskinned errant is nice too,
i dont have a problem with reskinning... it still looks different enough.. and they usually do a good job

edit: ooo i thought it was just blm armor, but the bottom pic looks like the mage is a summoner... unless its blm/smn >.>

Regardless, They have been putting a LOT of sets in lately. Probably a Mage set with individual characteristics attributes to each job on each piece. Smns need better leg equip~

goliard is possibly the most horrible set and it tries to incorporate all mages in it... what does smn get out of it? pet defence +10 on the legs ....

- Defeat Divine Might again for a new Earring, or trade your old to the " " for a new one (Probably get the Sword one because Abyssal is kinda useless now).
- Defeat Promathia again for a new COP Ring (though I am quite happy with my Tamas)
- Defeat Apocolypse Nigh again for a new earring (Might be Static, but I need to see what alternatives there are for my Smn first)

Either way, I haven't dropped either 3 items.

i dont think i'll change tamas for rajas.... mainly cause tamas will benefit 3 of my jobs, when rajas will only be good when i get sam up.... even then the store tp to obtain 6hit setup could be replaced in another slot

hopefully you can change back and forth as many times as you want (even if it means redoing the BC's)

I actually think the Black Errant hat looks pretty cool ;o

They should reskin Heavy armor as Cloth armor and vice versa. PLD/NIN Tanking in full black errant and a BLM nuking in Koenig would be some-kinda interesting.

They want to add something new, add animations. Auras to kickass armor and weaponglow or some shit. Make our magical armor and stuff actually look magical.

I think I'm going to get tamas too, or maybe the tank one for rdm/nin experiments... omg rdm tanks got new enmity/hp options, unless they already picked tank ring for a tank job. This will be nice.

I still think Rajas is better for melee than Tamas for mages.

STR and DEX +5 are both huge modifiers to have on a lot of WS. I'm no mage but I don't think MND affects spells on BLM etc...

MP+30 really sounds like an assload though, but I'm not a mage.
