depends what you mean by boring. It's bound to be a grind till you hit lv60-70 and can reliably clear the shade impulse mode (most normal mobs are going to be harder than chaos in there, lol).

Post that you unlock the Duel Coliseum where you can fight for medals, which can be traded in for elixirs (dusty/nq/hi/mega), which can be traded for more mats, which end up making weapons or armor.

When you got the best equips + a very good weapon, proceed to go through Inward Chaos (battle all 23 chars starting from lv92, going to lv110, with lv110 Chaos as a final boss).

:orly:

edit: you're going to need to clear all 10 stories if you want to unlock Shantotto/Gabranth one, and both of them if you want Inward Chaos.

I just find alot of it luck based. you're more likely to dodge an arrow/fireball by attacking it than you are by actually using the side roll, some characters have few abilities or 1 good one and a few bad ones. kinda makes everyone just spam a particular move until you have enough brave to one shot the enemy then you just try to land 1 HP hit to win <_>

EDIT: so basically seems that its more about building your char than it is about the fight itself (until you have a few moves probably) I cant play atm, visiting family for 2 days and i left my PSP at home.

yep, if you watch the vid I posted with squall I use that single move in the air, it takes off like 1.5k BRV per round. dodging most attacks is luck based yeah, chaos is the only exception with timed ones (or you interrupt him beforehand)

yeah, you can basically download it for free so you dont really have to buy anything. I only played it for 1 day so im not sure yet. I'm going back home tomorrow and I'll try to get a char to a higher level and see if i like it then.

You do need a PSP with a Custom Firmware installed to run homebrew applications and .iso/.cso backups of your games (just you don't backup your games, you download the .iso, from torrents or w/e)

hmm let's see.. a PSP can't run applications (or games, for that matter) by simply moving them into the memory stick, you need a custom firmware.

A custom firmware removes the limits imposed by sony and lets the PSP detect and actually run application/games. (along with other nifty things in a recovery mode, like plugins abilitation, etc etc etc).

Is this a bit clearer? I'm not exactly pro at explaining :|

Re: Dissidia

depends on your PSP first, what model is it (fat or slim), what firmware it has and motherboard

firmware can be seen from the settings menu, motherboard need to google around to see how to recognize it, cuz I frankly can't remember. if it's a fat psp it can be modded 99% of the time though

Pretty sure I have one of the older ones. Does the PSP slim have anything about it that's going to denote that it's the slim one? My ex-gf bought me this thing like 3 years ago (still the best thing to come out of our relationship).

O....that I can't do right now. I'm at work. I have my PSP on me, and I thought I had left it fully charged the last time I used it but apparently I was wrong, because I can't turn it on to find out. I get out of work approximately 5:30 and I'll plug it in (twss) to check when I get back.

You're probably right, apart from having to get the WEP key to even access the web from work (I still don't know it, plus my workplace has 3 different security levels for each respective group that has to have access) I'm sure they'd catch it downloading and bitch me out, especially for having my PSP at work.

Is there a way to bypass the network and do it through a regional network, like Verizon's network through my Blackberry (ironic imo) or something?
