I got, I love it, and I hear that you can play long distance online with a program called Xlink or something that runs the LAN through your computer or some bullshit. Whatever, I don't know. Someone find out.
ANYWAY, anyone else got it? I'm still fairly newb at it but from what I can tell it's a ton of fun and I've already gotten pretty good at it because it's not too difficult from Brawl. I bought a PSP just for this and got Crisis Core as an offhand bonus.

also while it might seem annoying, clear all 10 stories first, or you'll be even more bored after you clear Shade Impulse (and for that you do need a somewhat high level char.. 60-70 range, so pick your preferite char and replay his story 2-3 times to get a few more levels)
So I bought this and im not so sure I like it yet. finished cecil, cloud and firion (sp?) storylines so far, the one thing that bugs me is that some moves seem superior to others and the dodging system isnt all that great so most character just end up spamming 1 attack. I probably am just missing something tho.
Warning for any new players, Cecil sucks. dont use him as your 1st character (he supposedly gets more moves after he gets level 20 but I didnt get that far).
Every character gets 2 types of attacks, bravery attacks and HP attacks. HP attacks do just what you expect them to, they damage the enemy, they are quite slow and hard to land however. Bravery attacks steal your opponent's Bravery (strength) which makes your next HP attack do more damage. every character can set 3 HP ground attacks, 3 HP air attacks, 3 bravery ground attacks and 3 bravery air attacks.
Characters I tried: Light Warrior: tried him in tutorial only (so didnt level up).he seemed to be somewhat decent. had 1 short and 1 long range bravery attacks and his HP attack wasnt too slow (short range). His air attacks where somewhat similar to his ground attacks iirc.
Cecil: OMG dont use him -_-. His HP attacks change his job, ground HP attacks change his job to dark knight and air HP attacks change his job to paladin, Both forms have different Bravery attacks. Cecil's weakness is in his HP attacks. his ground attack (soul eater) is fucking slow so good luck landing it on anything faster than a turtle while his Air attack (saint's dive or something) has aiming problems (moves downward alittle then horizontaly regardless of if the enemy was above you or whatever). his bravery attacks are ok but pointless if you cant land a HP attack.
Cloud: good character all round. both his HP and bravery attacks are very good, especially his air attacks (Climhazzard and Braver). those 2 attacks automatically Aim toward the enemy and have a decent range and great speed. Cross slash is abit slow but its still better than Cecil's soul eater.
Firion: Pretty good but only 1 HP attack. Firion has a few good attacks but you dont get much choice on what to use. hes supposedly master of 8 weapons yet he gives u little option on what to use. His only HP attack is basically an arrow (air attack is the same attack for this char so you really dont get a choice) it can easily be avoided but its long range. by the time you get him to level 10 you should have 3 bravery attacks 2 of them have a draw in effect (he uses a fkn arrow for HP attacks, whats the point in draw in? -_-) the 3rd one is decent tho as it has and added effect chase, which you can abuse to land a few HP attacks w/o using the arrow (if your opponent was good at dodging them).
thats all for now, but I really hope the game gets alittle less boring as I level my characters (only played story mode so far lol >_> )
