Just played a lot of this game a few seconds ago. If I had to use a word to describe the new graphics, I'd use "candy". Every thing looks brighter, more colorful, and the new day night cycles are tweaked to maximum eye candy appeal. At night it's not hard to see, and looks better. The moody fog reminds me of zone mode in wipeout HD.

You people that have the game I suggest you update and try it out. The retry option alone was game changing for me. But they added a lot of other tweaks. This game has me hooked now. I'm even thinking of starting all over again just for the fun.

Did I mention that this game looks so pretty now? Those screens were just part of how nice it looks.

Edit: Oh, the next update is Pursuits in burnout.
