Making Chicken noodle soup after watching Top Chef on tv. It turned to slop :lmao:

i attempted to make some homemade chicken soup tonight and it turned to slop. i don't know what i did wrong

INGREDIENTS:
1 whole Costco chicken
1 pound of fancy egg noodles
some celery
salt and pepper

I boiled the chicken to get the meat off the bones for about 20 minutes. Then strained the chicken to get rid of the skin and bones. Put the broth back on the stove. Started breaking down the chicken adding the meat and celery. Let that get warm for a bit, then added the noodles. Let that simmer for a bit. It slowly just turned into mush

Fucking Top Chef makes it look so easy...

The flavors are there, but the consistency isn't that appetizing I think I had the temp too high when adding the noodles. Should have reduced the broth before adding the noodles.
