Secret santa works like this. I made up a list of people who wanted to participate. I randomly chose a person from the list and assigned that person to another person on the list. I tell the person who they need to get a present for. That person needs to get the other person a gift worth up to 150k. Now, when you get a gift for your person, you need to make sure that person doesnt know you are their santa whose getting them a gift. So, have other people find out for you what that person wants or needs. When you are ready to give the gift on xmas, have someone else give them your gift so its a secret. If you really want them to know when you give it, you can give it yourself and let them know also. Hope that kinda explains it.
