It's pretty common to lose your bike. Heck we can be metaphorical and consider the word bike to mean something very expensive or important to you. But bikes are easy to steal as they are the getaway, and no one can accuse the thief of not owning the bike since they aren't all that expensive to have multiples of.

I had a lot of bikes in my day. One was stolen. About a year ago I lost a lawn mower out of my own yard. No one stayed in the house at night so it was pretty easy for the thief to take it... and the central air conditioner unit..

Oh man, I've lost so many basketballs. I used to get them a lot. Everywhere I lived I had basketball courts nearby. Currently have one in the yard that haven't been used for basketball in 4+ years.

Someone stole my jacket and clothes. I don't mind those though. I like when my stuff smell like girls perfume. It's like they spray it directly on the stuff.

My Playstation 1 was stolen out of my house while I was at school + around 8 games.

Someone stole my Street fighter II Super Nintendo game while I went to the playground one day. Saddest day ever.

I had a bike stolen when I was a kid. My Dad drove around the city all weekend until he saw it in some kids yard. Beat the shit out of the kid, beat the shit out of the kids Dad. Took the bike back. God I loved growing up in Alaska.

Had 2 bikes stolen in college. Second one was in my locked room, upstairs in my fraternity house, chained to a post in my room. Those fucking thieves were very needy I guess.

Oh wow. Yea thieves will find ways of getting your bikes.

About the searching for the bike thing. I remember doing that stuff. Man I hated looking for the person that stole my bike. Also I used to let some dude borrow my bike a lot because he would say he'll let me borrow some of his nintendo games. I always let him use it, and he'd make an excuse for not being able to get to his house to give me the games. I was always so gullible. :shinner:

In college my roommate got his bike stolen. We chased some mexican that was robbing us out of the house and he hopped on the bike to make his getaway.

Roommate always said if he ever saw some mexican kid riding around on his bike he'd clothesline the kid and run him over with it.

lol oh man ouch. Bikes = the ultimate getaway. Can use the streets and sidewalk/alleys. Adrenaline > gas.

Edit: lol BC pwn

Protip #147: When you steal a bike, get a bottle of spray paint, tape, and scissors to make it look unrecognizable... lolz

When I was younger my father was one of the cities biggest drug dealers, not proud of it, but it's a small fact leading up to my story.

My mother and father split up because she didn't want me growing up around his lifestyle, which doesn't make sense, 'cause she is the biggest pothead I've ever known.

Anyways, every weekend my father would pick me up to take me anywhere I wanted, to get anything I needed.

One day I decided I wanted a bike. I was in 3rd grade and was tired of riding my sisters pink banana seat huffy. So I asked to get a bike, but mu father wouldn't settle for any bike. This muthafucker bought me a gold and black GT Predator! I don't know if you guys are familiar with bikes, but in 1993 this bike was every kids dream. So I was excited as hell. Mind you, I lived in the projects so it was like a jungle there. Bad ass kids everywhere, but I was one of them and I got my respect... Until they saw my bike. It got stolen 3 weeks later.

My father had sent a couple of his goons to see if anyone had it, but they were dumb and wouldn't have realized it was the bike if someone kickflipped it off of their face.

Long story short, I had a pwn bike, got stolen 3 weeks latert. 1 month after he bought me the same bike, but we spray painted it to look like shit.

About 3 years ago I had some little punks steal a patio set from my yard.

lol all of these stories are great make me feel like a kid again when like my only possession i even cared about was my bike and summer vacation really was just a 3 month long vacation. Well i have never had a bike stolen but one time me and my buddies stole the food off of some guys grill while he was inside. Just thought i would break stride and throw in the bad side of the tracks story of me doing some stealing.
