Party leaders will have to make a macro for this now. My computer is fucked up somehow, and I don't know what to do with it. It blue screens quite often, and for seemingly different reasons each time.

Sometimes I can go an hour or two without Blueing, but sometimes it's 5 minutes. I've been researching trying to find possible problems, and I also tried System Restore, but that didn't work. "WTF? IMPOSSIBLE!" and I did that little pulsate thing with my eyes that... forget it.

My point is that until I fix this I'll probably be "d/cing" a lot. I did a registry scan and found 1.4k registry errors. I'm still not totally sure what those are, but I think having 1.4k errors of anything can't be good. I dl'd a link Kny gave me (Ccleaner) and that only found 650 errors while other scanners found more. I'm still blue-screening. I'm ordering a system maintenence program that should hopefully take care of everything.

I'm not too pissed for a couple reasons though. It was kind of fun researching and trying different ways to fix my computer; I guess I'm doomed to be a computer nerd.

The second reason is FUCKING GOD OF WAR 2 AHHHHHHHH. That game is so badass, at first I stayed away from the game because of the bald guy with chalky white skin (fucking galkas), but I actually tried it and it's one of the sickest games ever. My only problem with it is that some of the puzzles can be frustrating sometimes, but some moments like the Pegasus run, man, fkin epic.


But anyway, I won't be taking a break or skipping events, but I made this thread to say that if you're talking to me and I'm not responding, I probably just got owned by BS.

Get Sysoft Sandra and run some diagnostics.
It sounds to me like your processor may be overheating due to dust collecting between the heat sink and fan. This happens to pretty much all processors, so what you'll probably want to do is open it up and take off the top of the processor and remove the likely cake of dust that's there.

by that i mean have her run checks on my personal computer to ensure no malware of any kind is present and securing the safety of my computer and myself

I dun mind camping Cerb yet, it's not too bad because I get a lot of work done, and when a LS eventually claims (like Cog) funni happens often. Watching people die is one of the most fun things on FFXI to me. It's probably one of the reasons I haven't leveled WHM past 37 yet.

My computer is getting worse though, I wish I could find out for sure what's making it crash.

Found a maybe nasty bug on my pc. requester.12.exe. I need my scanner back in working condition >< (been unable to detect since before april or whatever that dynamis xcabard that Homie got surcoat).

Also check and make sure there are no bios updates. Had a friends computer I just fixed blue screened a lot like you're saying yours is. Just randomly or after an app had been open a while. His bios was v1.60 and they had released all the way up to v2.80. I dl'd it and ran the update to it and it not only booted up/responded faster but there was no more BSOD crap. So check that in addtion to what everyone else is saying >_>
