Age of Conan

Anyone else taken a liking to it? I tried the beta with my friend and it was awesome. It seems like a fresh new mmo that might become as popular as WoW. Well, maybe half as popular. I think I might try it if I can convince Kreuz to play it with me. :fear:

PC spec wise? I suppose, but if better graphics means a few less people won't play, I'm willing to make that sacrifice.

You can obviously scale it down to run on whatever calculator you're trying to play the game on. :cat:

How's the battle system in that game? I heard it was really something else and not just your usual auto-attacking.

You basically choose where you want to attack (middle, left, right) and you attack based on where the enemy's defense is weakest, and that changes throughout the battle. You also have to choose where you want to put your defense.

Special moves are usually focused to hit a certain area of defense, so you can just spam your strongest move because that might be where the enemy has their d, so your 2nd strongest might be best etc. :fear:

It really seems to adda a level of skill that other MMOs were lacking, but I'll have to check it out and see.

I feel like another Ploid. :dunno:

I saw a youtube of this. It looks fun, and thanks to watkins I know wat those rows of lines mean. You can climb in this game (mind blown). Solo looks very doable and fun. Too bad it's pc only, a addictive genre, and such for me.
