Welcome to the very first edition of the soon to be "EDEN TIMES!"

Due to popular request as well as giving something back to the community, ive decided to steal Ploid's idea to spruce things up around here, and make our website more than just a forum for communicating between linkshell members.

I'm going to talk to Digi about some things, and see what i can do with this, but similar to how many other sites have a 'news' page as their main page, i think Eden is definately large and active enough to keep news flowing and we should post our accomplishments, failures, and random tidbits for all to see!

One thing i request from everyone in the linkshell is to send me any screenshots you guys have of anything at all related to Eden and Edyn, and i'll try to make some sort of news about it. I know we already post in the screenshots thread, thats a start, but there are still things we havnt been showing off, so you can either keep posting there, or if you dont wanna post there, just send me a private message, maybe i can steal some of digi's server space to host all the pictures too ;o

anyways look forward to the first edition being up hopefully by the end of this month... ive just started collecting screenshots, so send me anything you have... i'll try to cover everything from Sea / Sky / Dynamis / Salvage / Random events.. basically everything that we do as a linkshell

A zine is like a only website updated like once a month with like top stuff like a magazine and you update the layout ect. every month it's pretty sweet imo

we should do the thing like on BG.. idk how long they've had it but i saw it the other day where they put the top lootwhores/gratses on the front page with a picture ;o it seems pretty cool and a nice way to easily associate what we claimed and what we dropped with the people who won it

kny has the right idea.. those are some of the things id like to feature....

many of us are not on when cool stuff happens, and im sure we'd all like to see when our linkshell members get some cool gear, or we accomplish something as a whole... thats why we should have a place to post for our own members to see, as well as outsiders ;o

digi, i'd probably want to update it once a month, but id like much more information than what you'd see on a magazine cover...

for instance this month we already did:

-Dynamis a few times, getting some awesome drops,
-wiping awesomely to ultima,
-dalmatica and cbody for mira and shoto,
-full drops on JoL , plus a bunch of other drops we got from the lesser jailers
-loads of drops from kirin
-random pop items like alastor antlion / bombqueen
-lost claim on tiamat
-watkins attempted to mpk us in limbus last night

individual achievements could include someone capping merits for a job / leveling a new job to 75 / getting 100 in a craft /

eventually we'll start posting people with completed salvage pieces too!!!!!!!

remember how watchers had those interviews? we could set up something where members of the linkshell speak about themselves, like current goals they're working on, or things they've achieved recently, like how high they placed in their recent chocobo race lolz

i'll make it funny so it definately wont be boring, and i think they whole idea could bring us even closer together...
