I play around with backgrounds for about an hour or so on average, not sure how long Mira debates on poses, but from start to finish probably no more than 1-2 hours of work on my end unless something special is requested

could u like change the font color of the "man" or something idk

It all depends, gearing up people how they want is easy, but if I have to come up with poses, sometimes it takes me longer to get the one I think look bests, and sometimes its really easy. Amy's for example. For her war shots, I did 3 poses, and just let kny choose which one he liked best. There was one I like a bit more than the one he used, but I also really like the one he went with too lol.

Sam I only did one pose, and was really happy with how it turned out. And for blm, I kinda wanted it cheering the other to jobs, since amy is a lolblm no matter how much he tries to deny it, but enjoys the other two jobs more.

It's a fairly simple process on my end, although sometimes I spend a good amount of time watching model viewer people do the same motion over and over and over til i get the right screenshot, and sometimes I already know going into it lol.

Hopin to get scors poses to kny tomorrow, most of the delay is my fault (yeh I;ll admit it ) but we'll get em done.

Yeah it's coming along, just been pretty busy lately with other stuff. I have this week off, maybe I can get to a couple of them, of course that all depends on Mira's cooperation

Not really sure how to answer that <.<a I just use a ton of layers and downloaded a bunch of new brushes and fonts, put almost each new brush stroke / text on a new layer and move it around from there. Then adjust for color then flatten. But idk, I'm old school..

I mean to cut out the modle viewer pic, I get annoyed zooming in close and clicking the whole way around the char, is there another less annoying way?

First, when making the MV shot, use a really contrasting BG color, like Lime green or something repulsive. Make sure you save your viewer shots as either PNG or BMP otherwise the BG color can get some variance in it and make it harder to cut out. Use the magic wand (CTRL+W) and set the tolerance to about... 22~28ish? Just click all of the background and then Invert the selection (CTRL+SHIFT+I), then copy (CTRL+C) and paste (CTRL+V). After that click on the background layer and delete it and you should have only the model left on a shiny new layer

awsome, I'll try it in a bit, before I always zoomed in and used the pointer tool to click around the modle and cut it out, it took about 30 mins to an hour to cut each one out decently >.>

I'm re-opening this thread. I am not making FFXI sigs anymore, unless provided with the pictures to do them. I am reopening this as a general sig production thead. Anything you want in a sig, I'll make.
