FFXI Nasomi Server

Started this with my friend today, kinda awesome to start the game over and relive the old days of ffxi.

They made it so its everything the game was before abyssea came out. Kings and everything is supposed to be back to normal.

Just thought I'd post it here for anyone that's interested on playing again..and its free :)

we set up a private server for a while too, just to mess around on, all pre abyssea and such. Not enough people wanted to mess with it so we didn't really do much. Was fun running around the zones though.

Theres about 150 on, most like 100 at a time, enough to do kings and such

Did people ever figure out what spawns Almighty Apkallu? Did the Absolute Virtue thing just end up being use the corresponding 2 hour after he did to lock it?

beating AV is still my biggest accomplishment in life, prolly forever


but srsly epic moments like that made the game awesome, then i remember how many fucking hours you spent doing literally nothing in that game, and im like lol nostalgia u so silly

I tried a FFXI private server a year ago, I ran into Colenzo (a old Eden member) in it. Weird stuff, we were both new to messing with the private server too. Would have never known if he didn't keep his name as Colenzo.

I never in a million days thought i'd ever play this shitty game again nor play on a private server but a few months ago a friend showed me a private server called EDEN (OF ALL THINGS) and I made a new character on there after not playing since 2008 or w/e and have been playing now and again since WFH really changed things :fear:
