We're looking to move. Rufs just got his 2nd job to 50 and he is looking for a good endgame group so we're wanting to get out of a JP server and into an NA.

I'm still not 50 on my drg, mainly because I spend a lot of time crafting / gathering. 6 crafts and 2 gathering jobs closing in or over 40.

How active are the people on Excal?

Hoga sent you a friend invite on steam (Fail-Tek). They aren't a endgame sized group. Just about 10 people some with mains on other servers. Different time schedules keep them a bit lacking in full party stuff it seem. Darsh, Jae, Spiderlily, Nightwing, Lenneth, etc maybe 3 more.

Edit: Just found out there is a 3 day wait between transfers so my main is stuck on Ramuh for another 3 days because I moved my Legacy.

That I let Hoga talk me into playing ff again, just like that last time I came back to ffxi. The dude is persistent. I said I would play for Thanksgiving break and with Excalibur always being maxed I had to activate and start watching the server capacity list. I was on early this morning because I let the game download and checked Excalibur status before I shut it down. I'll hop on tonight, will probably try to play tomorrow night. I didn't expect to get in the server so soon.

Also I really should have been a taru in FFXI, the small size is pretty cool. I wish the galka dudes looked more like galkas. These guys just look like muscular humans.

I'm going to be so useless. Games tend to put me to sleep these days, even the ones I want to play. I don't want to get heavy eyelids but even when I fight it I end up having to just stop. After I stop playing I'm suddenly wide awake. Maybe chatting in FC chat or whatever will keep me focused. Though in the recent game I got drowsy on I kept paying attention to the Trade chat for gear (Path of Exile, still hooked on that game, started a new character yesterday).

Got some strong BST vibes from Arcanist. It's like they simplified bst to not needing a ton of jugs or to recharm, and put it on a rdm (I really liked 75rdm/75bst). The pet can tank very effectively. I fought a big Fate mob solo for a while, then a DD showed up and the monster was locked on my pet until the end of the fight. I DD'd and cured it as much as I could and it still held hate. Good stuff, I doubt there's much soloing when you get up in levels as everything seem to be instances and built around having a 3 or more people in it.

There is a guy on the ff forums trying to buff up SMN assist tanking (adds). He brought up nin tanks when describing how interesting messing around with attributes to buff the pets are.
