I can't believe how good this round-based strategy game is. I cannot stop playing, ever. I only go to sleep because my wife forces me to. The last single player game that did this to me was Starfighter 3000 in lol1996...

Oooh that looks good. I remember this franchise. Deep in Asia war history stuff. I think I played it on Super nintendo (http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=pl ... c_s#t=124s) and got lost in the menus (think it was in Japanese). That series is very deep in strategy. I should see if I can keep up now.

Have you ever played Civilization games? Those have a hook in you too if you get into them. They even have the player made slogan of "Just one more turn" Kinda like Lays (potato chip brand) says "You can't eat just one." Civ 5 wasn't as good as 4 though.



Oh and there is Shogun 2: Total War. They have ninjas and honor.



Crusader Kings 2 as well, which may be closest to ROTTK since I'm pretty sure it was inspired by it.


My favorite is this one. It's cheap and blockbuster mainstream but that bugger still holds up. Not to mention that you can play against your friggin self.
