Not sure if anyone remembers me... Mitsurugisan.. Elf PLD/WAR/BLU. I was with TF and Cognatus for a long time. lol

I signed up for the beta for FFXIV and I just got the codes today. I am planning on logging on later today and seeing how it is. If it works out to being a pretty good game I am planning on getting it. I just wanted to connect with people I use to play with on FFXI. I can barely find ANYONE. Most of the numbers I have are disconnected... so I figured I would try other LSes that I knew. So.. here is hoping some people remember me here. lol Hi ;o

Haha... I guess we were. I don't know why. But I always got the feeling that simply since I had the TF pearl people automatically hated me. I never had a problem with any of the other LSes.. I think it was mainly the leaderships that caused a lot of tension. It happen so long ago now that I hardly remember most of the bs that went on. I do remember the Nidhogg 24 hour battle LOL that was epic.. lol

I thought it was you. I thought I posted something in the FFXIV thread but I must have been too sleepy, and I thought I was mistaking names so I didn't want to confuse a person for someone else, especially if it turned out to be a late Eden member. Anyway, how in the world did you find this place hah. That's another reason I didn't post, or thought I was mistaken.

Ok I have a confession thread around here and we talk about stuff we did in FFXI. That said please clear something up for me, it don't matter what you did in ffxi, those were old good times. Ok the question. One day in Qufim I saw you near the zone to Jeuno, you used Tonko to invisible up, then you pretty much zoomed away crazy fast or something. Was that the Flee tool thing? I never seen it in action, and I pretty much remembered you early on because of that.

About FFXIV, I have the beta, I was playing it when I got the chance each weekend, last weekend being the last time I played it. It's ok, I only played ranger. They only let you play a few classes, and you have to do stuff to get access to more than the starting 3. I guess I like how fast the fighting is, but I'm just 20something, there's not much complexity in things at the moment for me. The beta only works on days that they set up for it. Outside of that time it shows up as "Under Maintenance, Please try at another time." It's usually up on weekends.

Btw TF stole my friend's soul (Darsh), not really but it seemed like he was in prison. Kinda made me not want to be in a endgame shell. TF seemed strict on it's members, Bookey was there too I think, another one of my social friends. He also went silent, couldn't hang out or chat much. My twin

Then there was Jubo and Eudon, Jubo was in BloodFlavor, and Eudon joined them. You guys had some arrangement with BloodFlavor. We'd be hanging out farming NMs then they'd have to leave for Fafhogg and they would mention TF a lot lol. Eden was formed from those two wanting to do something else. I tagged along, and made sure people could talk and have fun. I'm sure you guys had fun, but it seemed like you couldn't show it to the outside other than TF Jeuno hall.

Crap I thought Bookey had his shell visible in this pic. I'm sure he was in TF though.

Some of the TF people were good guys, I can only remember milkman, requinas (sp), and maybe a couple others whos names I can't remember. TF was really anti social to outside ls people, kinda funny in retrospect lol

JEEZ... He is STILL playing FFXI? Damn man... he must be married to that game lol.. I can't have imagine still playing that game. After having a few really close friends quit, the joy of the game lost all appeal to me.

Lol, That was probably when I was leveling up thief. I must have been trying to get my exp group fast. Yeah, just use Flee, then invisible and speed off.

And I can see TF doing that. We were very ordered when it came to camping the HNMs. If they caught you exping or doing a quest, or crafting or w/e bs while a HNM window was open, you would get cursed the hell out. And then depending on how your previous performance was at camps, you would be kicked or get a warning. It was funny cause, if you pretended to be afk or whatever while at camps. Our leaders would log onto their mules or other accounts and travel to the area the "afker" would be and check to see if they were really afk. lol It was crazy.

I never had trouble with that since I was a good little cog in the machine. lol but watching people get caught was hilarious. I remember one person tried taking their pearl off during hnm hours, and put it on when the hnm was killed. Ron flipped the fuck out... lol

Yeah, we had a TON of good members. But I think the general feeling a lot of people in our pearl got was that every other LS HATED us. And that was the reason why we didnt talk to anyone else. I think the general feeling that ron and some of the other leaders gave us was that the other LSes were jealous of him and TF. So they hated us because of that. I never really gave a two shit either way. I just played the game lol

I was in TG but I was homies with every shell because I never gave a shit about "LS rivalry" so I'm sure I talked to you at some point, therefore my knowledge of Mittens!

im trying to remember who gave me that nick name. Salami.... or Gwen. I don't remember who. But they said it as a joke and then all of a sudden a lot of people started calling me that. lol People hated spelling out Mitsurugisan. Some WHMs had to make macros specifically for me so they can cure and haste me easily. lol

All this talk about shell silence and not being able to change pearls reminded me of the cameos that we would do with other shells. Palerider went over to TG shell for a cameo, I forgot which TG member showed up on Eden pearl for a shocking appearance. Those were fun times. Also shells teaming up on weird situations, like server going up or down at odd times, was fun.

Looking back at it, it's quite funny all the stuff that went on, even my own actions. People took the game too seriously so there was always that 'feeling in the air' that some linkshells just didn't want to associate with others, moreso at camps I guess. I found a few people here and there from some shells to talk to and just have fun with, but I was afraid to talk to most haha.

Pretty Princess Club was a good shell.
For those that don't know, it was a shell for all the guys like us in separate hnm shells to talk and not be faggy and hate each other for no reason.
