Don't have time to watch that video right now, but it really is a great game, and its still in closed beta. Played the stress test weekend and decided to buy a beta key for 10 bucks, well worth it. The amount of different builds you can possibly to is insane, I'm doing a dual wield duelist, with axes, I kinda fucked up my build, simply because I didn't get enough health talents early on, should be able to fix it easy enough though.

If I get extra beta keys (supposidly you get a beta key every so often to give out) I'll give them to someone here, otherwise I think open beta starts soon, and the game is free anyway.

I forgot you could freely summon skeletons in the game. They time out and despawn rather than stay like zombies so I didn't really focus on them though.

Don't need good gear for this build, just let the pets do the work. Farm build

I've been patching for about an hour and a half now. Probably about 20-30 minutes to go. Can't wait. I've been for the most part ignoring any news about this game and various builds so I can go in completely fresh and just mess around. Totally going to fuck up some builds.

I got in pretty quick since I downloaded the game last night and patched before the open beta started. I have 4 zombies, with the zombie gem pared with a gem that lets them explode near by corpses on their own. I probably should change that since it seem to blow themselves up too. Dat Materia system.

This thing right here is the best pet I've had. It shoots strong fireballs and can take a beating before it dies. Charmed a dead boss.

I think you'll find this interesting Dhil. Remember when I told you I was actively farming items with 3 linked red/blue/green items so I could get chromatic orbs because I messed up colored sockets on one of my items? Here is the full known list of vendor trade recipes.

I wasted 20 chromatic orbs trying to get a 4 linked socket body all blue. I was trying to get double dmg support and a life on my zombie minions. found out later you can't double up the same support (or at least it doesn't show the stats). Of course now, i found an Item Rarity support so I'm back to trying to get 4 linked all blue sockets.

Yeah, stinking lucky getting a unique for minions. I asked if you had like 10 uniques and finally got one or something because of all the items you got one custom built for your playstyle. And grats!! Crazy

This is the build my farming character use now. It's a darn fast kill setup. You attack incredibly fast and you don't have to worry about MP so you can spam your abilities while getting life on hit because of your passives or gear/gems to keep your hp up.

only one mob gave me trouble in act 3 so far, a giant statue champion. I still need to work on armor for when I do get hit. I skipped all of the armor type nodes in the tree so far.

Thats awesome. Though probably doesn't work in my build since I took the passive that gives your shield stats to minions. I wonder if you can cast minions with that 2h sword and then swap and retain the benefits from both. I've noticed that aura/minions from gems in weapons don't last when you swap, but this might be different.

Also, I've backed off of PoE abit. I really like it but server problems and connection issues have made it tiresome in the Cruel difficulty. I've died too much do to lag and what with there actually being a penalty in Cruel for dying.

The multiplayer drops are also lame with connection issues. I lost a chaos orb because I couldn't get to it in time. Timer was half gone before I even saw it. Plus, people are dicks. They were just waiting to gank it from me. Lost out on a boss drop too because I died and they killed before I got back.

It almost have no drops at night. They really need more servers or something.

also, there used to be an addon for chrome that shows what recipes you have completed in your stash. Not sure if it still works or not.

Wish I had more time to play, been crazy busy with work lately.

My necro is on hold now. I'm now playing blood magic ranger, spamming abilities to burn down enemies from a far. I need spell totem badly though. I need skeletons to keep enemies from running to me though I have good defenses and such. I need to be level 50 to use the spell totem that my duelist use.
