It's an ignorant word though, and it degrades an entire people because people are too stupid to stop saying it, so it's getting passed down from generation to generation.

But you're right in a way Aemora, just the wrong way. It is just a word. Does that stop me from blacklisting people who say it constantly? Naw, it's still pretty annoying. Dont see why Jewish people just can't take a joke about something that happened a long time ago and the pictures mocking them, etc. The Big brother situation was on tv, who cares if the black girl took it as a joke also, it's shown to people that might be offended. Just like not everyone would take the Japanese term lightly, or the Jewish thing lightly. I don't keep up with all the degrading terms for every race but not everyone find them pleasant or minor. I'll say "nigga" to my friends but I would -never- say n_gger to anyone's face, joking or not. Also, since we're on point, why is it not allowed to make fun of a persons race but it's fine to call a gay man a "faggot" or joke about gays in general? It's like gays are the new black. It's retarded.

Black people aren't exempted from the word bashings either. Lot of old black people hate white people (from my area at least, some had personal reasons, fear). I'm sure every other race have a reason they hate others also, but hate is bad all around. The homosexual thing is bad as well. Can't treat people any old way just because they're different than you and not expect to get treated bad back. Why not degrade your family, your daughter, beat your wife/kids/boss/friends, and see how many people will stand to be around you.
