Diablo 3 Open Beta starts this weekend. (start downloading)

Basically offering gold in D2 as part of a trade was useless; people always had a fuckload of it and it wasn't used for anything good. Item trade was where it was at. The only thing it may have been good for was potions.

Personally, I'm glad they made it worth something (in the Beta at least). I'm wondering how the RMT is going to work for this game. DOES EDEN REALLY BECOME A GROUP OF RMTS? MORE AT 11.

Items are cash. I remember seeing RMT tells in the lobbies of D2. I just did a quick google search and some places are STILL selling D2 items for as much as like $30. Not bad all things considered.

Gold are unique so it may have been worth some $...then again nothing is worth shit in the Beta.

Been snooping around the internet and my twitter about this today. Apparently Blizzard realizes that Monk's are terribly overpowered so I hope you enjoyed it while you can.

No that can't be right, skeleton king is just weak. I never used pots in the beta, maybe once or twice to see how it worked. I shall start a new monk to see how they changed it.

Yeah man the game is almost out, Cuba >>> beta of a game. Just watch a recent video, it's not much going on in the beta.

bah, monk wasn't overpowered. Everything else was underpowered.

But yeah, idk exactly what level i first beat the boss but I want to say level 7-8 and I didn't use any pots or any healing abilities solo. I also handled hordes of mobs by myself in a co-op with at least 3 others.

It took me a while to get used to it again because I hadn't even played D2 in probably 6 years or so, so I did use a few pots. Plus, I just went straight through the story since I was late getting in so didn't really have time to prep and was trying to get a few diff jobs in which of course didn't happen.

Still gonna play Demon Hunter tho, I dig style points.

Edit: I have a few RL friends who want to play also.

yeah. Cuba was amazing. First time out of the country, etc. Totally forgot about the real world until sunday afternoon when I had to leave. Went with my family, so the first few days weren't as awesome as they could've been, but met up with a bunch of cool people from ontario/NB/Quebec and we drank like, every night.
