World of Warcraft players interested in getting Diablo III for free can still get in on the World of Warcraft Annual Pass, but the promotion will be ending at 12:01 a.m. PDT on May 1, 2012. When you sign up for the Annual Pass and make a 1-year commitment to World of Warcraft, you’ll receive a free digital copy of Diablo III, an exclusive World of Warcraft in-game mount (Tyrael’s Charger), as well as access to the upcoming World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria beta test. I was going to go to gamestop today after work to browse around looking for a new game and see if D3 had an actual release date yet, but I didn't. Ploid ftw!
Usually I don't even consider Collector's Editions, but perhaps. Also, quitting my job in May to play this full time and sell in-game gear for cash!
There is no subscription fee, there is a rmt auction house for the lazy rich people that want the uber stuff like in ffxi. The good thing is it won't effect honest people trying to farm their own stuff, it may make AH prices crazy though, but it's real money AH so it's crazy anyway.
Yeah, I ran into Tyriac on FFXI today and after much intense thought I remembered where I knew her from, and after much more intense thought I remembered this page.
