What was that madden thing about? Someone eles was playing when you sent that, and I just now noticed it.

Invite to Madden Ultimate Team. Online mode where each player is represented by a card. You get cards to build a team and earn coins per game to buy more cards. I find it fun, except the madden servers have been incredible crappy and cut out on half my games. We can play head to head sometime if you want, my team is still pretty crappy.

Oh ok, I gotta get back to playing. Servers and friends not being able to update their roster slowed me down.

I've always enjoyed Madden. Its one of a handful of games I play when friends come over. However, I'm not a hardcore Madden fan and I've never bought the game in back to back years. Usually I buy every 2-3 years which makes all the game changes pretty noticable (along with the roster updates). However, this years version, Madden '12, is complete bullshit. The changes and upgrades are basically negligible compared to Madden '10.

Superstar mode has zero frills to it. It seems like they basically cut everything from it except the games, practices and some stat keeping. Franchise mode I haven't played much, but so far I haven't noticed anything new except scouting and preseason cut days which is kind of unnecessary. The create-a-team mode is exactly the same. EXACTLY. Same options, same team logos, same stadium options, even the UI looks the same.

Madden Ultimate Team is really the only mode I see myself playing often and the servers suck so much I've gotten disconnected in more then half my games.
All in all, I'm hugely disappointed and Gamestop fucked up my pre-order so no bonuses for me. Only plus side to the game is it does look pretty sweet on an HDTV.

Basically, I wish I had bought Dead Island... though I'm worried it might give me headaches, what with the epilepsy, some FPS tend to give me problems.

Whoa you too? I'm surprised I don't have it. How did you guys find out you had it? Did it just show up? I trash my eyes, when at the computer I don't take 15min breaks after looking at it for 30mins like I should. Even read on monitors when I could just get a book.

I've had epilepsy since I was a baby. I was two the first time and they thought I out grew it until I was a teenager and I had a few. I didn't get a license until junior year of college because of it. Mine isn't very serious. I have sleep seizures and they only happen in the first 30 minutes of sleep and are triggered by sleep deprivation, not eating and/or strobe lights. Usually takes at least two of the three so they're fairly easy to avoid. I was also put on meds just as a precaution since losing my license if I had a seizure would be bad. I may have "outgrown" it again, the ones when I was a teenager were probably due in part to puberty.

I'm pretty bad with computers and not taking breaks. I usually have at least one monitor and a tv going and easily go hours on end without a break of significant length.

Depakote, which supposedly makes you feel hungry but I can't tell.

you're supposed to take a 15 break if you look at a computer for 30 mins?
maybe that's what ruined my eyesight lol

That's what MGS4 tells you on its loading screen. My doctor did suggest I take 5 minutes every hour at least which I strictly adhere to much to the dismay of my employer.
