Everything about this game is wrong.
They pretty much used the same races from xi (name changes rly) but took out anything that made xi user friendly.
There is no /sea function AT ALL, crafting (if you can believe it) is so much worse than xi's system, there is a pt search function but it's retarded and no one uses it, macros seem to be useless, you get AP to set abilities to your "action bar" (gay) and you don't have enough of these AP to equip all one jobs abilities as you learn them. I won't even get into equipment lol.
Basically this game sucks moose penis in it's current state.

It looks pretty but it's a clunky hunk of pewp.

I was reading this thing about diablo3 and how you can sell your super awesome drops for blizz bucks and get loot irl or something along those lines... d2 fans didn't seem to take this news well but I never played 2 so idk

Have you played Borderlands? D2 was a lot like that in the sense that you could get different, same items. Meaning you could get the same item but had different stats. The stuff, when it dropped, was unidentified, so unid items often could be 'perfect'.

I played borderlands a little bit but not very much.. either way D3 looks pretty good. I don't think they gave it a release date yet though :/

Talking to people online they say in it's current state it's way better than it used to be.. I can't Imagine how bad it used to be.
It's "playable" now but the UI is so bad it's a pain in the ass to do everything. Npcing things, trading.. targeting.. it's like you have to master the shitty interface to do simple tasks.

I tried to play it, got a dood to 50 in something (super ez to lvl).. conjury or the other not pronounceable magic job they had, tried their "end game" stuff out, was horribly bored the whole time so I stopped playing.
Very small chance I'll check it out again when they release v2.0. I just couldn't get into it at all, my hard vidya'n days are over.

You got farther then I did. It was super laggy for me so right there it made playing pretty unfun. I think I might have gotten miner to 30 or so and leveled a bunch of crafts between levels 10-20.

The crafting was pretty terrible. Past lvl 10 in any craft and you basically had to level other crafts in order to advance your main craft. XI's main flaw was cost, in my opinion, but most of the leveling was craft one item to a point then you would use that item you just made in a new recipe to level higher...fairly efficient (not always but often). In XIV there was no rhyme or reason to the order of recipes.

Yeah man that drove me nuts, just make piles of trash and npc it, which takes for freaking ever because the UI was terrible.
