fk that, the cord on my USB headset is comfortable and I sit prolly 10 feet from my TV. Logitech USB headset, got it at Game Crazy for like $29.95 USD. Really good headset, works well with CoD4 and several other games.

I got the Jabra BT ear piece. The thing has 0 background noise canceling. You can probably hear a tv in the other room with it. I have the socom usb one also. I don't use it at night because I'm usually playing in the bedroom, and the game volum way down.

Cool in game xmb is coming.

http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=303118

This will make communicating with someone that's trying to invite me easier. Now instead of accepting, then being told it's too late, I'll just send a "Invite me again" message.

This guy that posted is very creditable. Well unless someone hacked his account and resisted the urge to screw up the forum with his mod ability.

"It's the real deal... Coming in 2.40. More features than expected.
All I can say."

A confirmed EA employee had this to say in reply to the above quote.

I can confirm this, but there is more then just in-game XMB coming in 2.40.

Also the only mode I play is death match in CoD4. Vedder only seem to play team deathmatch. I think I shot at Vedder a couple of times. That must have been what he was saying before he exited the room. Was it something about being "disappointed in me" ? lol I sorry. The time I realized that I was shooting you you name wasn't in view for me. I flash banged you a few times when you came up from behind me running towards my grenades. I don't do much looking out for others. Getting used to the speed still, and playing like socom.

One thing that works on socom and also works on this is is going prone and getting up while trying to get away from a far away enemy while you're in the open. It's more sluggish in this game, and less effective.

LOL I like being on opposite sides sometimes for things like that. I bet I was sticking out like a sore thumb.

I'm going to start playing team modes to get used to what seems like chaos to me.

I had to limit myself to around 30 mins. I have a project that has a sunday deadline. Monday I'll be able to play for a while.

I have been using M4 quite a bit lately. Seems pretty nice. Those big machine guns give me problems though. Good and strong but the iron sight is clunky.

I suck with those, though I see people getting shitloads of kills with them. I stick with assault rifles mostly since they give both range and damage. Most shots in this game aren't from horribly close so I don't like getting shot before I do some of the shooting. Try out that M9 Sniper Rifle or whatever dude. It's really fast and does lots of damage from mad far away. Sniping is really fun on basically any stage for me now.

I really fail at sniping. I'm always thinking in the back of my mind that someone see mee and are probably sneaking up on me so I keep moving. I also don't shoot running people very well with the scope. I hate wondering where the people went and if I should pick another spot and by the time I decide to move, 6 people head around the corner and spot me (keep in mind I'm mainly playing one for all, or whatever the teamless death match is). I don't know if it's instant cross hair shot, or if I have to lead the shot and have them to run into it. I'll try it more, but I also sucked at sniping in Socom for these reasons.
