I was curious about how many different news and gaming sites people visit. I'm usually focused on a few boards such as.

Before I played FFXI it was a awesome site, but since pod casts and blogs, developers been spreading the url around and a lot of people flock to it. Lot of fan stuff go on lately. 2,000 new registered users after E3 alone (speculated to be sony, microsoft, nintendo viral marketers or something). Developers of a lot of the popular game companies like Bungie (3), Ninja Theory (2), Killzone2 devs (2), etc post there, and a lot of devs thatI just don't know who they work for (fusion frenzy but posted at the board before he got the gig for example). Their Off topic forums is pretty dynamic also. Was a lot of fun before my FFXI days, I have no idea how to get back into those forums with so many new members.
93% of my animated gifs come from gaf. My socom clan is [GAF]. My FFXI LS is from gaf (StarsofDestiny). Seriously, if there is new game news, it's on gaf. No need to search

NeoGaf...man tnl has a serious dislike of those forums even tho both offer a huge amazing amount of content.
I don't read Neogaf much if at all mainly due to me being a part of tnl for since 1992.

lol, I had no idea neogaf had rivals other than Opa~age, teamxbox forums, and a few smaller forums banned gaffers go to for refuge. In which they then plan goatse attacks on the off topic forums. Oh man am I glad people stoped hacking with vomit inducing pictures like that. I'm still scared from goatse. The internet lost all innocence for me after that. Identity theft added to my paranoia.

Well it's not so much as a rivalship as it's TNL's userbase is really fucking ruthless when it comes to good games so most of the time if you're going to be a rabid fanboy of megaMan/StreetFighter/YugiOh/Xx-Series then you're gonna get tore apart if you act like a fanboy.
TNL to me is like a gamer's site with less chances for fanboyism to run rampant. We usually drive most of them away.

Ris i have an extreme HAtred of torrent. I <3 Direct d/l's. I i wud rather pay $10 per month for unlimited d/ls and d/l an ep in 5 mins then have to wait for fkn ever for seeds to be on for torrents.

he updates it still, but it's FARRRR more sporatic.
