I asked a ? on KI and didn't get a response but maybe y'all might know.

There is some kind of mod that changes the appearance of your screens text to appear less italic and more boxy. I've seen several screens on KI and the sort where they have a mod in there that not only changes the characters name from its original install text to a clearer, whiter more cartoony kinda look.

Safer has downloaded this technology, and he runs the game with it. Hate his debriefs. Lax originality.

Ask him. But I believe there to be a LiveJournal out there somewhere where the Dat change packet in .Zip is <.<

Yeah I've seen it, I changed mine to this but it was too distracting, so I changed it back.

these mods pwn.. looks like old school FF games ;>
also icons for certain things change.. such as different colour bard notes for different songs / JA buffs / debuff icons / etc etc

I used that when I played and I couldn't live without the updated icons he made. Knowing what kinda debuff you had on you was invaluable in some circumstances. And cancelling other buffs was easier too... <3 those mods


Plus the text is easier to read which just makes it all the better...

so far i've used it and liked it. I put it on both my computer and laptop. The txt is easier to read and it just appears cleaner.
