I do hope MS drop this stuff and just go normal (makes for healthy competition putting heat under sony). They always aimed for this but it's just too soon, or too late now that TV is dying. The camera is going to be a good spy tool, collect information on the average house hold, what the individual people watch, and their habits. Feed it back to microsoft so they can sell that information like Google. They got beat up on browser, phone, mp3 player, and a lot of stuff. Now they have to resort to screwing with gaming.

We'll be getting the ps4 too but in all honesty before I put the 4 on a pedestal I'm waiting for all the information to come out from both sides.

To be honest, I didnt want to buy either of the consoles at release because theres no title announced that interests me.

Now that Microsoft gives out more and more information, I'm feeling like I just have to buy a PS4 immediately, just to get Sony's sales numbers up. A friend of mine can probably give up his videogame store due to the new politics around used games.

But let's wait and see what happens till release. Also, someone please shoot EA, while you're at it.

Well that's why I'm waiting to judge because there's been a lot of conflicting information in the past week over what can and can't be done, if there is a charge for pre-owned, the whole always on thing. I'll wait until Microsoft officially confirms it before sending them to the dogs. For all we know Sony will be doing the same thing, they've always been pretty good at keeping shit under wraps so you never know.

I'm not getting any next gen console at launch. I like watching people play games much more so I'll just watch them play on twitch.tv or something bwahah. I'll get a PS4 eventually.

Note: It's important to remember that, while Microsoft is catching all the heat today, Sony has likewise been vague about many of these same issues, and it remains to be seen whether the PlayStation 4 will share any similar restrictions or policies.

This is why it's smart for Microsoft to be doing this now, let Sony be the poster-child because if Ps4 ends up having the same thing they're going to get hit twice as hard with hate since they had the opportunity to not have the same restrictions.

It got worse for MS 5 minutes after I posted that. People are really...really unhappy.

It's pretty obvious that MS finally have it's trojan horse to data mine information from house members from via the living room. They tried earlier with webtv, Google and such got them on browser and search engine, apple phone. The only reason you need to constantly connect to the internet is so the kinect could upload data on the family I bet. MS then makes money on this info by slotting advertisements to be fed based on likes of particular people, and selling info on the family to other companies. Kinect has to always be connected and working, they say you can disable it by unplugging the system.

And now the portion of the program you didn't expect: My praise of a few XBOne games that were announced.

KILLER INSTINCT even though I've heard it is being done by a shitty studio makes me happy, I used to love that game. Much more fun than MK for a fighter, not quite as good as SC for a fighter.

New Halo coming out. I used to play the first one a lot in college. Sounds like it's gonna be pretty decent except my inability to care about Halo when there's definitely better shooters out there on the horizon as well.

Dark Souls 2, though I have to play the first two since I never have before.

Just can't wait for the PS4 reveal.

Yeah they learned their lesson from that first reveal, only show games to get some good grace with gamers.

PS4 stuff should be interesting. I'll be building a new PC first but I'll eventually get that PS4 for dem Sony games (GT7).
