I love the Mexicans, I can't wait until they take over. They are cool people, I don't get why people give them a hard time. I still don't speak spanish, I need to learn that so I can understand what people are saying on Univision (tv channel). I like all of the different ethnicities, I like interesting people. Things would be boring if everyone was southern white people. I hope people treated you ok Safer.

I went to L.A. for work (pretty sketchy area of Commerce) but did manage to sneak a couple hours walking Santa Monica which was loverly.

No problems once they let me into the country. Everyone I met was friendly, even the hill billy inspector from Texas I was working with - really brings to life the stereotypes with his views, but a nice guy really.

Ploid, you should visit Toronto.

I've never actually been to LA to visit before. Not that I dream of doing so.
