Still can't decide if I'm gonna bother playing.

New classes? Most of those sound like old classes from XI. That first Gladiator pic looks pretty cool.

I might consider giving this a shot if others are.

I wanna give this a shot just because YoshidaP poured his entire heart and soul into this game. It's hard not to sympathize the guy.

Whether I'll continue playing it, though, is a different matter.

I got an email about this the other day saying something about a free trial or something for people who had 14 and are returning. Hopefully, that means free everything and not just a free month subscription.

Tyriac

Tyriac is the coolest person I know on the internets. She's probably climbing something dangerous like a Mt. Fuji and Mt. Pelee (volcano) fused together. She don't care.

well I wasn't going to make a new Tyriac but after seeing this pic and on the understanding I can make numerous chars for no added pennies I may just have to. When I can finally get a copy that is. :satisfied:

Omg Tyriac spawned

I'm probably getting this game sometime also, I won't be playing like the old eden days though. I don't think I could if I tried. It's too much work for me, and I don't have the patience to wait around like I see people doing on the streams (duty finder, looking for mage type stuff).

I'll be going with bard, it seem like the best class so far outside of tank and whm. Summoner seem to be a DOT class, but the parsers don't count bio so they are seen as week :(

These people are idiots if they're just standing around, waiting for a dungeon while using the duty finder. You can queue up a dungeon for the duty finder and then go do pretty much anything else until the duty finder fills your party. I've queued it with Rufs while we're in different zones and kept questing in other areas. Once you unlock a dungeon you can que for it anywhere and once you're queued you can even switch jobs. I tend to craft while waiting.

The only problem for me is logging in, which has gotten a lot worse. I had no problems at first since I play on either a JP or EU server and log in during off hours mostly. However, since there has been such issue with prime time congestion, people just stay logged in 24/7 so now its congestion around the clock, which is pretty bullshit.

Like vibratorface said, the problem is logging in. I'd give the game like a solid 8-9 if it weren't for the log in issues. Otherwise it's a 6.5/7.
Right now I can't even get the launcher to go into the actual character selection. The game itself is fun but the issues it has are bleh.

Since maintenance is going on, thought I'd post some SS's.

Tanking Titan (Normal Mode)

I already took him down on Mnk but I wanted to try tanking on Pld

I went with a pick up group on my Pld. The DPS'ers couldn't dodge Titan's knock off ability and we failed multiple times =( All in all still fun though!

This man speaks the truth. Hopefully the maintenance will fix this :wall:

Hard Mode Titan and Garuda are merciless. Ifrit is easy.

Hard mode ifrit is a pansy, only tried Garuda once and lost.
