It's pouring here and I absolutely love it. Considering I can't do shit outside cause of my arm the rain is one of my fav things. I typically sleep with rain sounds looping on youtube if it isn't raining.

That said, a few years back my parents built a new roofed porch on the back of the house (I've had to move back in cause of seizures, though it isn't terrible). The top of it is made of metal so the sound it makes knocks you out cold when you're tryin to sleep.

My house has a metal roof too. Green

When I first moved here, and it rained, the rain kept me up lol.

vince vaughn, has he ever been funny in anything? he honestly has one good line in any movie of his I've ever seen and it's when Ben Stiller drives off on his moped.

"That wasn't weird or anything."

Only time that man has been funny...ever

I agree, those movies are awesome. Can you name 1 funny thing he said in there? I realize KY wasn't quoting VV but he had 0 good lines in anything.

Thinking about it, I don't disagree with you.
Although: "you know those rating systems are flawed..they don't take into account houses with more than 2 television sets."

I tried, I can't think of anything good from him either...
Gotta be something in wedding crashers?? That did good at the theaters, he must have had something.

Nothing he said in that movie was funny, I (in general) didn't find that movie funny at all. It was more of a romantic comedy than anything, and no romantic comedy is intended to make people laugh. It's intended to make your girlfriend laugh, who presumably lacks any and all sense of humor being a woman and all.

He's the type of person that is just able to sell you a bad car. He seems confident, and not weird. People like that, so he gets to be in a lot of movies as a standard guy role.

But how does he get into comedies? Typically you have to be funny to do so. Or extremely ironic in a comedic role; Christopher Walken being a perfect example of this.

Hell, Tim Robbins was funnier than Vince Vaughn in Anchorman for that reason.

It's Hollywood, him being likable and being in a comedy or two must have got him stuck in the comedy movies. Also he may have a lot of favor, and pull when it comes to the movies he get in. Always on the cover, etc. He may be the brother or brother-in-law to someone high up.

I'm like you, but instead of wondering how he got in comedy movies, I wondered why he was picked for movies, and how he got lead roles. And his wife is always fine. I guess while watching Couples Retreat, he brought it to my attention when all the average to fat dudes had fine wives.
