used to be scared of heights, until I used pump jacks and was 20 feet + in the air for many hours a day installing vinyl siding. Shit doesn't bother me anymore, even tarping trailers (15+ feet and uneven surfaces) is np.

most bugs don't bother me, because they're just always around, but anything big, even if its harmless, does. I really don't know why.

I used to be ok with heights and still am fine with.. 30-50' up but if I go near like a 6+ floor balcony and look over I get vertigo (is that the right term idk) or just plain old freaked out since my Mom... threw in the towel.
The brain is a mysterious motherfucker. If I could research anything it would be how the brain works and why it decides to start operating in a different way than it used to... fascinating things go on in our craniums.

I saw two baby snakes in my back yard. Tried to kill one, thought I did. Mashed the shovel on it's head with the pointy end, scooped it up, put the shovel and snake on the deck to continue trimming the yard. After I finished I went back to show someone the snake and it was gone. Never turn your back on a snake thinking it's dead. It's only dead when you melt it's fangs and burn it's eyes.
