I didn't like Juvant. He got ridill before me. When his little group joined, he acted all Diva with us "We are going to be busy doing our white linkshell stuff. We're doing you a favor, if we have time we'll help with your little HNMLS stuff". He was only able to do one percent damage to Vrtra before dying. The kicker, he was elvaan.

Seriously though when he prevented my thf from getting unembarrassing tp build pants I went all emo. I didn't care for him much after that. Then he joined TG and I was kinda glad while everyone else seemed sad. I guess it was a good thing he prevented me from getting awesome pants though.

After that I spawned the nm on my own as sam, burned 2hr and died to tornado IV something. Then I thought about how emo I was being, and looked at the real problem. I was a grown man acting like a kid that had his milk spilled. I tackeled the real problem, looked at all of the toys Eden gave me already (post ridill), then figured I'd just want some other thing after pants. I then realized gear accumulation is just a endless cycle so I stopped caring about getting gear. When I did that the game became really boring since I was only helping, and not trying to work for something. So that is how I ended up kicking ffxi. People no longer needed my help. I still don't care for Juvant. He was a good asset but he doomed me to subligar.

Speaking of, Vedder putting subligar on Ploid sucked.

I didn't like a lot of the people in TG.
But that wasnt a secret I consistently reminded them of it.

I can't remember anyone I didn't like until the "new" crew joined (new to me). Apileas and that other pld that joined around the same time. Though, I'm sure people didn't like me either (still don't??). Was only like 15/16 then though. I know I was very annoying back then, I'd have disliked me too.

I remember me and eudon got into it once. Was right before he jumped servers, I'm pretty sure everyone knew that though.

Prolly doesn't make a whole lot of sense. On my phone and break, have to rush!

That's pretty much how I ended up quitting as well. That and the ls I was in pretty much stopped doing events.

There's a few that I didn't care for as well, but I think I made that pretty well known.

My confession is that I actually enjoyed all the FFXI drama through the years. Mainly during my years on Unicorn. I go back and read the Unicorn section on KI every so often just to laugh at all that stuff.

I got denied from Cata because they found my Eden app.

Also, I was there when Dissenter quit HK to start UP. We were friends from a previous shell and he asked me to come TH a Kirin for them and then he quit when he didn't get Osode (for his Mnk or something). At a loss, I was asked why Dissenter quit and I thought (then told whoever asked) he gave me a pearl for HK's ToD's (lol, when you think about it). Basically, he was accepting me without applying and I didn't know it. He didn't much care for me after that, I cared a lot less after I found out the personalities of most UP people.

I remember going out of my way on Ziggurat's application to have him denied because he refused to raise me in Boyahda. Something like "well if I raise you not only will I be losing skillup time but you'll also be taking my skillup mobs."

My GAXE skill is still 0.

O a real secret. Dissenter, Doshu and I were all secretly friends even though we were supposed to hate eachother.
I frequently went to other LSs events when LS rivalry was quite high. Including help LP kill KB when TG was en route to killing it.

Another secret from me, Eudon would give me gil from bank for spending sprees. Well just one time. He gave me 2mil out of nowhere to do whatever I wanted. I wonder if he did that to a lot of people. Give them money to keep them loyal or some motivational crap. That 2mil made me so happy haha. I was hurting on farming and really wanted a rdm earring then bam, money in my box.

Jrx was probably supposed to get that ridill I got. He did something awesome with that faf I think. Something that might have won us the claim or dd. Or maybe he had ToD, anyway when it was in the pool people seemed to forgot he was there, and they let me lot it against TG (Magickt or something). Eudon later said he didn't let Jrx lot because he wasn't really trusted at that point. He could have gotten it then stopped camping or left the shell.

I used Nikes. Loved them. Made travel so easy back when there wasn't a fast way to get anywhere. I never botted claims though, which is probably obvious since I never claimed anything.

Also, my first Dusk Glove +1, the hide wasn't not mine. Someone from my sky shell had a hide they wanted made into gloves and I hq'd the gloves, but since my leather was on a mule, I had him mail me the mats and I crafted in my mog house. Luckily, I had an nq on my mule since I had done a bunch earlier in the day, so I sent him one. Only time I ever stiffed someone, but fuck if I'm handing over 20m+, especially my first one, to some douche in a crappy sky shell.

Everytime I was accused of botting I was on PS2 as well.

I sold an avalon body when they were like 8 mil and gave gil to some people instead of giving it to a shitty pld or "banking" it

yeah, movement hax basically. It could give you flee speed but it could also basically pick you up and drop you anywhere in the same zone. You had to invis yourself to make sure people couldn't actually see you do it. Also, there were timers for how quick you could zone so, if you haxed your way through say, Bat. Downs from Jugner to Jeuno, it would stop you if you tried to zone. A quick log out and in fixed it though.

I also left my sky shell with some "bank" items. A bunch of seals and some mats but whatever. I busted my ass in that shell and often had to use Ruf's rdm cause our mages sucked so much that I was better dualboxing with a gimp on a job I never played.

I wonder who actually did bot claims in eden. Pretty sure salami did, other than that idk
