McAfee Total protection 2010

#1 Post by Kooyo »

So i just bought this, friend said it worked well for him, but for me to fully install it, its saying i have to uninstall my trend internet security 2008. For the last hour i've been trying to find where to uninstall it, and i thought i did, seeing as i cant find anything on my computer about it, yet when i try to install McAfee again it says i still need to uninstall. Anyone use this or have this trouble with something else? If so halp! :fear:

Anyone have any suggestions for a good, free (or relatively cheap) virus protection program? I had McAfee, came with the pc, but it ran out and resubscribing is redonkulously expensive and McAfee sucks anyways. Windows 7 64-bit if that makes a difference.

It plops an ad on your desktop every day, other than that, its still pretty good, although it used to be better.

Windows 7's MSE is pretty good for the most part, though I use AVG.
