Gotta say the new xp rates are awesome. Last night my two friends and I were xp'ing together on jobs in the mid 20s, doing 17k/hr. el oh el.

Haynp. I just remembered that me starting a new account actually had one great advantage. I can do all those scroll quests all over again, so I just spent the morning jacking up my fame in bastok, sandy and jeuno, so I'll waylay one of my frens to sneak me through some places and kill some stuff for me and I'll be sitting on around 600k+ easy. That will basically fund all the gear I'll ever need to buy from what I can tell, since most of the good stuff is 'free' in abyssea anyway.

Seeing haubergeon sell for 15k made me chuckle a bit.

edit: Anyone know if Argus still camped much? Figured I may swing shakrami every now and then once I'm high enough to kill him.

Had a bad dream that I started playing again and when I first logged on I was in some weird zone with a Dalmy on my rdm (with that Morrigan coat thing in the inventory) and figured that Eden was still using ploid and someone decided to main him. But eden was dead and I was all alone!!!!!!!!

Hah, I think BST leveling was the best job exp in the game. So relaxing, so risky, so fun. I think everyone should have done it. When I hit 75 bst i slowly lost interest, and then I didn't want to collect more gear because I was thinking about stopping, then my gf didn't want me to play, and I eventually stopped caring about logging when everyone started quitting. Now people are coming back, and BST has more sexy levels. Not to mention FFXIV seem to be garbage.

Hot damn those easy-to-quest scrolls are great money. My highest job is 31, I have 900k, which is enough to buy everything I need until level cap, and I still have 3 teleport quests that I haven't done. Hell, haubergeons are 15k. Think I may farm some Hoo Mjuu to maybe level bst whilst getting yag beads for tenshodo fame.

I remember when WoTG came out you had to farm a coffer key to get on the boat or pay 500k. While I was on the boat 500k poorer everyone was farming keys. Dumbasses amirite.

Norway. And it hasn't been so bad tbh. I got a lot of help from a couple frens with all the annoying tasks in the game. They'll plow through my genkais for me, too. Tenshodo fame is annoying, yeah, but other than that it's mostly smooth sailing. There's no level caps on missions, so I'll breeze through CoP, and I'm one fight away from rank 6. If you don't have people to help you, though, this would definitely be a royal pain in the ass, and I'd never do it a second time.

edit: and lol, I could walk up to the AH and buy a haub+1 right now at 31. I remember repeatedly trying to get one synthed back in the day.
