I was bored yesterday and came on the forums for the first time in like 2 weeks or so. afk looking at those admin threads, pretty sure I was in there at one point, but idr.

On that note, DW was asked several times to go get Mrd a glass, and refused. It makes veteran members look very bad in front of the new members, especially when new members volunteer to do what they don't want to do. But I guess now that Lut's coming back soon, it won't be much of an issue.

Looking through those HNM loot distribution stuff makes me realize how boring it all sounds and that I will NEVER do anything like this again. I wasted my life when I played FFXI. If I was president I would have these banned, they can't be time consuming like FFXI. Think of how productive America would be without these things.

The loot thread in question is Iticus' Ixion reward thread. Tried to give rangers and such some reward for scanning, then Mira brought up the RDM, PLDs, and sucn that camp a NPC for Ixion and that they waste a lot of their time camping it as well.

There is no way i'd do any of this stuff again, so glad I didn't do any Ixion stuff, it sounds HORRIBLE.

Honestly, as boring and slow paced as a lot of ffxi was, I still miss a lot of it, a lot of it was so much fun. I've only played 2 mmo's, and they're polar opposite, plus I never met anyone in wow I'd actually talk to beyond the raid/dungeon or whatever, yet I'm still here talking to you guys.

I don't even miss playing it. It was basically a glorified chat service and a decent time waster for an hour. Far too repetitive. It may be a lot better now as people say but not worth it imo.
