Ok, so, HALP

This shity laptop (Vista 32 bit, Dv9612ca) I've had since forever sucks ass. I did a system restore a couple weeks ago, and since then my computer has been fucked up in several ways, but the thing that pisses me off is there's no audio (now, I can hear sound through the speakers from random beeps like pressing too many buttons at once or errors). Over the volume control I get "No Audio Output Device is Installed" My sound Driver is completely gone, and all attempts at reinstalling it fail (Cannot find media device). I've literally tried every solution I've found on google, but nothing works, at all.

Any clue why my laptop fails so hard???

I've already tried.

"Failed to find Media Device"

But the speakers are clearly plugged in because you can hear the loud beeps.

2- show him your laptop

4- problem solved, yw.

Good advice, but I only know one asian around here and she moved away for school.

Shit out of luck I guess!

If it just makes a silly beep all the time, the drivers are not installed. Try again and don't /canadian this time?

I've tried installing the drivers like a hundred times. I know they're not installed, but they wont install. I just get an error message.

Delete the porn.

Sorry about that, I feel your pain. PCs are the epitome of frustration. Gl with trying to get Lutia to fix it for you for free though. He owns a pc hardware franchise, he can't be bothered to do this unless you have $2,000. World domination is expensive.

omw to germany!

Its annoying though, because every once in a while the driver will reinstall but it only happens after my laptop has been off for a long ass time

whats the make and model of your laptop? search that and search the type of sound card you have in the laptop. probably onboard meaning its built in to the motherboard.

go to the manufacturers site and call their support line or somthing.

The most fucked up part is the driver randomly installs every once in a while, sound works for 20 mins then stops working again. Its pretty damn annoying
