Some of my friends update their Facebook status almost hourly. It would be absolutely retarded if everyone posted stuff like that. I have a hard enough time managing my activities throughout the day, let alone the actions of 400 other people.

I have no idea how a site as craptastic as twitter has become so popular.

I'm surprised people took the time to understand the language. All of the #s, @s, RTs, other abbreviations and such turned me off quick when I tried to see what the fuss was about. Even then it's nothing but random meaningless information on there. Even if it was from my friends and family I wouldn't want to know what they are thinking, drinking, pooping, etc.

none of my friends even use it

it sounds really gay imo.

well actually, i use twitter to keep up with local sports teams and breaking news. its actually pretty useful in that sense. even i dont have that big of an ego to post my daily dilemma of breakfast cereal choices for the world to see.

Hmm serious adult twitter has it's uses. Just checked Anderson Cooper's twitter (CNN) and it don't seem like the normal type you hear about (taking a crap, eating chips, saw a spider).

Maybe after a few years twitter will be all fixed up like google.
