Are you using any assistance? Alot of people i work with tried the patch/gum etc and they just get really irritable.

Actually Monday this guy was telling me that you can actually put some sort of magnet on ur ear.. and it releases something into your brain and stops the craves...

As of 1st July England becomes a no go area for smokers yay, no more putting up with other peoples cancer sticks while out shopping / drinking. I'm guessing a load of people will take this opportunity to cut back / quit

Im not totally anti smoking..... so long as people do it in their own home in a locked room with no windows open, away from children (including their own - nothing worse than picking up a new baby who's parents smoke and smelling dirty tobacco and not the sweet baby smell) But I also think smokers who have smoking related problems should pay for their own health care

They banned Smoking in Wales in public places at the beginning of April, and a lot of the people I know have quit because they cannot smoke and talk to friends who would rather stay inside to talk that outside and lose their seats!

idk if people misunderstood my wording... but i dont even smoke... i made it all up... ITS A SHAM

on that note however, i had an uncle who quit smoking, and he did it by carrying little candies around... whenever he had a craving he'd put one in his mouth and suck on that.... ;o

the no smoking in public places (open areas are fine, but no indoor smoking, and no smoking in places with closed roofs.. ie outside patios with covering) was put in effect last year here in ontario... people were sorta inconvenienced by it.. but i think its pretty much common sense not to smoke where other people around you cannot move away from you....

in anycase its been accepted here... other places seem to be following suit

Meh, as for me. I went cold turkey. its been 5 months now. yet im still fighting my cravings when i get drunk... at least its when i get drunk
