Sooooooo... my 360 just got the 3 red flashing lights so I'm out of 360gaming for about a month... (3rd one btw, gg microsoft). So now I'm looking for ideas on a good PC game to get into, other than FFXI of course. I've been looking into C&C Red Alert 3 and Company of Heroes but I'm still debating. I also have Halflife2 and a few mods for it on Steam (Counterstrike Source, TFC, DoD etc..), but they don't hold my attention long. I also have Wc3 which I play every now and then but meh, I needz something new! What are people playing nowadays that doesn't have a monthly fee? D:

I have CoD 2,3, and 4 on 360 but I've never finished the campaign mode on part 4 (every time I try to I get a game invite from someone on my friend list to play multiplayer =p, hard to turn down). Unless I found a cracked free version to download online I probably wouldn't get the PC version.

You must play Red Alert 3. It has THE HOFF after all.

lol wow...I didn't realize this was based on a true story, now I must buy it to learn what REALLY happened in history and forget the nonsense they teach in school. Hoff is definitely a character, pretty funny and random that he made those videos. But yeah I loved Red Alert 2 and the expansion pack to it, I just hope that if I get Red Alert 3 it's just as fun.

It's way more fun because of the silly storyline they made up this time.
Also you get to blow up a certain building - unrelated to the story - but extremely funny in the context. Not gonna spoiler it.

I see that C&C RA3 is getting a lot of flakk for SecuRom that comes with the installation. Have you had any issues with it? Also, hows the online community in the game, since I'll mostly be addicted to the online matches ;D

I played D2 when it first came out (I was in middle school back then lol) and I loved the gameplay. My only gripe about the game was the massive amounts of hacks I would see on a daily basis, so i quit and started playing games like... Phantasy Star Online for DC and Everquest Online Adventures for the PS2 xD... good times.... Anyway, I probably wont get back into Diablo until D3 comes out, but even then... I'd probably choose ff14 over D3... but we'll see....

I got a n64 emulator and played some of that a couple weeks ago when I got bored. Really just call up some frens and eat wings and slam a few pints, you'll forget all about video games in no time!

lol this is true, but its tough to get people together in the summer, especially since I'm living near campus and people are away for the summer

That's too oldschool, besides, my caravan always catches some random disease and dies before the end :p

GTA sux....there, I said it.
I'm sorry if you guys like it, but I didn't even finish the last one. It's like replaying the same game over and over every single time that I put a new GTA disc in my console.
I really haven't played any video games in well over a month. I'm not going to say I wish I could play more games, but I wish I had more time to do such things.

I played the demo last night and I enjoyed it; yeah the acting is a bit over-the-top lol but I like the gameplay. I'm actually kinda anxious to play it online.
