The items I'd pick would be:

1st: 100,000,000 gil
2nd: 10,000,000 gil
3rd: Summoner's Horn (lol)

Btw, on the website, Cid suggests that a syndicate option would be a good way to cover getting at least 4th prize between 9 people - 100% win.

The problem with having a fuckton of mules to cover this is that if they won something sligtly better than 4th, and you didn't want the Gil, that Mule would be stuck with the Ex/Rare item that your main wants :>

Not exactly true. For the thief AF they are giving away the gloves instead of the pants for both 2nd and 3rd place. I guess this is confirmation of SE admitting that "steal" is absolutely pointless in this game.

And they chose the AV item that no one wants. (K aside from Raph's Rod)

They should eliminate or severly reduce the gil prize and do something like this every month/every other month. But since theyre giving out OSHITBARRELSOFGOLD they cant do this too often because the economy would be destroyed by the retards who win.

Should have just made it for r/e items/AV drops. Seriously, who is going to pick any of that other stuff over 100 mil? Scale the damn money prizes orz.

idk how u could not choose the 100mil from rank 1 over the other items, but for rank2 or 3 i'd pick rdm AF2 over the 10mil/1mil prize

He figured if everyone or near everyone made 10 mules, and with an estimate of how many people per server, he came up with them making 150+mil a month. Thats if people keep those 10 mules active. >.> Jeezuz! Anyway, when I get home I shall be running mules back to citys and lvling all my mules to lvl 5 so I can win rare/ex items on them!! WOOT!
