wtf have I been doing the past weeks. Well, I've been working on several art projects. Mostly to improve myself in the workings of both drawing and in Cellshading. After two weeks of trial and error, my first project is finished and I've learned a lot during that time as well as hating perspective. Note however, probably a week of work was just to come up with a background. I've got numerous drafts and settled with what you see here. Fair word of warning, it's effing huge.



The original was 2000x3000 pixels and wrecked havoc on my computer. I resized it down to 900x1350 but even then...

Perhaps I should have shrunk it even further. :/

Anyways working on the next one already so if I vanish for a couple days, prolly because of that.

Edit: btw, if anyone, especially you artsy people like Suka, Ploid, and Kreuz see anything wrong with the picture just let me know and I'll get around to fixing it. Still learning, nab, etc.

those buildings are structurally unsound. work on that.

I like the background a lot. Vrey nice style. Also the girl's hair rocks. Really like that darn stylish bg. Reminds me of the batman cartoons. The animeish kind.

I think it looks really good. My only concerns were her boobs and her open hand could use a little shading. You did a great job on the hair(s?) and the shading elsewhere looks really nice.

Work on buildings, more shading, some resizing. Everyone's critiques are pretty spot on, I just didn't notice... I think. Thanks everyone, I'll come back to this and fix things when I can.

As for the hair, everyone loves the hair, I dunno, I thought the hair was one of my weaker points! lol

As for her being upside down, she jumped off a building and plummeting to her death! or not. :>

But she's smiling and she's too pretty to be emo...

Actually, there's a full blown story behind it... she's really a thief and jumped from the building to escape authorities and will survive etc. She wouldn't jump if she didn't think she'd live >.>
