Today will be my last day on the shell. I would still love to have access to general forums in order to stay in contact with all the friends I have made in this great shell.

I've been sitting on this decision for a couple months now, unsure of wether or not I was making the right choice, but I've finally came to a point where I just wanna get it off my chest. I honestly don't think I'm cut out to be in a hnmls, even one as laid back and relaxed as Eden. When I applied to the shell some 18 odd months ago I was in a point in my life where I could sit around and do shit for hours on end, but that has changed. As many of you may have noticed I havn't been playing ffxi on a consistant basis for a long time now. This is due in part to having a full time job, a 18 month old son, being a fulltime college student and working on a wedding that has been in the making for 2 years now with my fiance'(halp!). I decided to leave now before I get anymore gear because I don;t want anyone to think I used the shell in any way, shape or form. Eden has had alot of this happen to them with people I shall not name and I don't want to leave that impression with you guys about me.

I would like to thank you all for everything. For the gear that I have recieved and all the good times I've experienced in the shell. You've all supported my strenuous endeavour that is lolgalkblm. You've dealt with me being overly exited about every merit I've recieved and dinging in the shell about stupud stuff lol You all have been the people I reach out to when all the shit I deal with in rl get's to become overbearing and for that more then anything I thank you.


Last, but certainly not least I offer an open invitation to anyone that needs my help with anything ingame to just send me a tell. I will probably being joining a salvage shell that in all actuality fits my schedule best.


P.S If It is requested of me to drop my pearl I will do so. Although dropping in every now and then wouldn't be such a bad thing, but I can understand why you wouldn't want someone who is no longer in the shell to have a pearl. Also I said I would post a pic of my mutant dog and a pic of my other baby, so here it is!

It's not really a matter of wanting to leave Eden, It's just a tad more convenient due to my time constraints. My peak playing hrs are times when my fiance is at work and my kid is asleep and that happens to be around 11pm est. The times I have set aside to join ls events prior to that peak time is cutting into my rl commitments, which intern is causing me more harm then good.

I'm not sure how to reply to scor's comment which kinda caught me off gaurd lol

Marry someone you love, not someone that makes it convenient. Plus, the fact that your mom doesn't like her is a surefire bad sign.

Really though I don't see why anyone would have a problem if you kept the pearl and came to stuff when you could as long as your new pearl isn't like.... cog or something.

I agree with bc. Keep your pearl. Just go inactive we all understand, i'm very sure that we all had to cut back in our play at some point in time. When u find the time just pop in and say whats good, ask ppl to merit lol, and pretty much break bread with us. Just don't join lolcog, lolp, tg, or lmfaoeternia .
