So true. I love mine but goddammit they can be annoying.

I'm usually pretty crusty with people I don't know/like.. we should do lunch and hate on things together sometime Ploid.
Even if we ended up crusty and disliking each other we would totally understand!
Also I hate that small talk bs people do "how was your day?" "man it's so hot" etc
Just go kill yourself and leave me alone already.

Hrm maybe I have issues too

I agree 100%.

My mom thinks I'm an asshole for said reason. Being that I've had that medical stuff happen recently, I've had to move back in with my rents (I'm not allowed to drive still) so we see a lot more of each other than we'd both care to.

She despises the fact that I was off work for 6 months while she still had to go so would make a concerted effort to make my day as miserable as possible when she got home. Even still she acts like I had a 6 month paid vacation (idk about you guys but seizures and surgery sounds like a pretty shitty vacation to me).

I always hear stories about "blood is thicker than water" but that's a giant pile of bullshit as far as I can tell lol

Ah ok I got it
My mom used to harp on me but she had no leg to stand on so it never worked out for her..
Are you an only child? Parents ride their only child hard from every one I've ever met.. if not you probably just aren't her favorite lol

hahaha BC. Good to know I'm not the only one. In today's fast paced world, small talk is just a waste of time, but people kinda feel they need to do it to make connections. I forgot what program I was watching, but because of a little small talk people stopped a man from stealing a girl's radio even though that girl was rude to the people. It was a hidden camera show. When she didn't do small talk they didn't care that the guy took the radio. Can't give you a link, it's on Hulu.com. The show was "What Would You Do" by ABC brodcasting.

I have one brother but he lives out of town, so luckily I get everything that would generally be guided toward both of us.

Dang VD.

I think my mom feel a bit guilty for me nearly dying at 2 with the falling on a block + blood and with the stroke at 7 thing. She's super cool to me, also my brother, and sister as well though.

My mom likes my brother just fine. She's just super pissed at me recently cause of my 6 months on disability and my dad was retired, so she was the only one going to work.

She'd come home everyday with a list of shit for me to do.

I started reading this thread again from page one, and I find myself laughing at the jokes all over again. Am I this bored. It's been raining here since Friday. This place isn't tropical enough to put up with this weather. I need to move to a more awesome spot, something that's not over 100 miles away from the beach. 100 miles is farting distance for tropical storms.

I remember wanting to be as cool as Cuba Gooding Jr was in Boys In The Hood. Looking at that movie again makes me laugh at myself. The old Cuba was a clown (80s or whatever clothes), and I failed.
