Lost about 50+ pounds since I started this. Hovering around 180 now, and I'm very comfortable with doing the routine every day. Probably need to buy equipment and move to P90X.

:(

And I hate the yoga crap in the Insanity Workout stuff. It's only about 3 minutes per (the stretching segments). Also 90 minutes of yoga?!!! screw it, I'll probably stick to insanity to stay at a good level throughout life. Maybe buy machines to go in the storage room and install air conditioners and make it a cool space to pump iron. Seeing how Arnold, and other movie stars get fat so quick when they stop makes it seem like I have to do this stuff constantly.

YOGA???

Didn't you start this program like 2 months ago? 50 pounds is a lot to drop so fast.. Starvin' Marvin look isn't a good one to shoot for Ploid!

Not starving (eat when I'm hungry and not junk) or very skinny, getting very lean though. I can see the ripped look, especially in my abs area. I try to make sure to eat a lot of protien after so I don't lose muscle. Insanity is just very effective.

Edit: Also I started in January so my 3 months should have been over. I botched January though. I was a newb and figured I should do week one over and over until I could go through all the dvd's without having to skip sets, or take breaks when they weren't taking breaks.

I have buckets of ice cream going bad in my deep freezer and I'm the blame for it. Blue Bell Mocha Almond Fudge was bought yesterday along with Pecan Praline and I was nearly forced to try the Mocha.

At this point Ice cream looks like pure butter or excess fat mixed with sugar. Disgusting. There's hope for me yet, I probably won't be another American statistic. Also yesterday I learned one of my friends have diabetes now, so I'm also cutting back on sugar big time, and sugar is my weakness.

Insanity done. Achieved though in a lazy way, like I said I went at my pace and stayed safe. The second day I did Insanity was the worst because I tried to keep up. Bad head ache. Major results in the end, going to keep it going. May do P90X next year and get some equipment that's needed for it.

I now drink fake soda (sparkling water) which tastes pretty good actually. Normal soda is too much, I have to water it down to drink it all. Taste like drinking syrup.

I enjoy sparkling grape juice occasionally.

Yep I found grape was the best tasting one. I had others but of grape won. I think the lime I had tasted too fake, the artificial sweet or whatever they use is more noticeable. The reason I started getting them is because I thought that the only reason I drank soda was because of their bubbly factor. After trying a completely void of flavor soda water I realized it wasn't just about the fizz (tastes like a bad keg of soda from McDonalds where all of the flavor is gone).

Please don't be trolling me VD lol. This is a edit after reading your post a second time.

No troll, I used to have it on special occasions when I was younger, my parents used to call it Kid's Wine.

I had some a few months back and it was good but I don't buy it or anything.

Didn't workout at all this week and I'm losing more weight. Darn Diablo 3. Started to pig out today to compensate, though that sounds backwards.

Actually have golfed 3 times this year now, all within past 1.5 weeks. Huge step for me considering I just had surgery back in Sept.

I keep picturing you as Jerry Seinfeld when you mention that you golf.

It's actually probably the thing I'm best at...if I even gave a shit about anything I could prolly make some money doing so; obviously working for a bank is more secure. I'm not even close to PGA or even Nationwide tour good or anything but I shoot even par pretty regularly. Well I did anyway. My arms are sore every time I play right now though but admittedly I didn't do any rehab. In keeping with the topic; decent exercise dragging 50 pounds of clubs for 27 holes so far is the most exercise I've been able to get. Even with the swinging I'm terrified of lifting, just seems like it'd be too much too soon.

Maybe this belongs in the emo thread.

Good to see you're doing good with the arms and motion. I never thought how bad it would be to mess up the shoulders. Knee is usually what people think about when it comes to joints.
