Anyone plan on playing when v2 comes out? I have been giving it a lot of thought, and Call of duty isnt filling the gaming void that was left when i quit ffxi, before i have get any game though i would have to get a whole new computer, the one i was using for ffxi shit out on me, been looking into custum making an alienware or something, any suggestions for games or PCs?

I may try it on PS3, but if they can't even solve the lag issues after being out for like 2 years that is not a good sign.

Play Diablo 3? Possibly.
Play it with other people? Probably not.
Never played Counter Strike.

They are literally not able to fix any of the server problems with the current game engine, the entire game is coded so terribly they can't even re-write half of it, so they are starting over with v2 basically... other than the lifetime discount if you're active for 3 months before v2 there is really no reason to play this game right now.
Unless you want to get all the drops that currently exist.. no idea why anyone would but people log in for some reason still.

Loved CS for PC, was i think one of the first PC games i really got into. And i know a few people who are talking about d3, but i would need to get a whole new computer for this shit, which i all really concerdering an alienware, anyone use that custom build thing they have on their website? From what I've gathered, the best part of the game atm are the Primal Battles and end-game instances. Levelling seems to basically just be an obstacle to overcome so you can have fun. I think my toon is like... 33 or something. I may or may not level it to 50 by the time 2.0 hits, but I will definitely be giving the game another shot once 2.0 goes live.

Oh, and one other thing that's kinda cool. I have a fucking Goobbue mount. Goobbue fucking mount.

Gobbue mount music is is one of the few positive things in 14.

O that's kewl, if I were you I'd at least give it a shot. Worst comes to worst you log out and continue not playing.

I might check it out just to see how jobs are, they were on hold last time I played.
