51 hours to live
A guy on reddit (I know, I know) with terminal cancer is going to be allowed to die in a little over two days. What's really interesting are the different sendoffs he's getting from strangers. Some people are posting pictures of themselves. Others are telling him stories. Neat stuff.

what message or lesson would you like to give to us and the rest of the world

That nothing we have is worth hurting anyone else for. It's all fleeting people. Stop seeing race, color, sex, religion, etc.... Theyre all just people, and if you try to love them you won't lose anything.

am I a terrible person for thinking this guy is a douche?
I like how he refers to getting his dignity back but makes a post soliciting well wishes from strangers on the internet.
Get a facebook page and tell your friends or something

Unless that website is not private and the people posting are friends irl, he's a douche.
PROVE ME WRONG!!!

As some of you may know I was recently diagnosed with epilepsy after I had a seizure over at my friend's house (I was playing CoD btw, THE WARNINGS ARE LEGIT LOL).
Lemme tell you guys, please take care of yourselves and be healthy. I've had my license taken away for a year so I don't have one while driving and get someone killed (obviously having no control over your body at 70 MPH is no good for business). Aaaaaaaaand now I have to take medication basically every day for the rest of my life and the pills make me feel like shit for the most part.
Furthermore, during the seizure, my shoulder muscles tightened up so much that my labrum and rotater cuff popped, so I may be in for surgery very soon for that as well.
Also my mom stepped off her treadmill oddly two nights ago, fell, and broke her arm so bad that she needed surgery (pins and shit) to put her arm back in the right shape.
One month before my seizure, my dad had to go to the ER to have stitches in his head after a nasty accident. That's 3 people out of 4 in my family that had to go to the ER in the past 50 days.
Whoever has that fucking voodoo doll of my immediate family can cut the shit, we're getting tired at this point.
Also the Bills likely won't be going to the playoffs again.

Holy crap

Wow so much bad going on, gotta imagine some good on the way. I treat my eyes like crap and I'm surprised nothing happened to mine so far. I'm always staring at screens, from phone, to computer and I laugh at the "take 15 min breaks every blah blah blah." Hope things turn out good for you and you can somehow recover from this (I never studied this type of stuff).
This kinda has me scared that I could end up developing this.
Edit: Would wearing sunglasses help during driving? Something that could shield your eyes from flashing stuff that could trigger problems? With people with these problems you'd think there would be medical advancements that could prevent it or cure it.

I just had another seizure yesterday; fell out of my hospital bed and dislocated both shoulders. I need to play the lottery, no way can it be this bad for this long.

My doctor said it was the "perfect storm" meaning that it could have been caused by anything. Needless to say my parents are blaming everything I do (drinking, video games, no sleep, going out, weezy, etc) so they basically have tried to get me to stop doin everything.

Sup VD. Welcome to the club. I was diagnosed with Epilepsy when I was around 1 1/2 to 2 years old. Mine isn't nearly as bad as most though. I have night seizures which only can occur when I sleep and are usually triggered by sleep deprivation, poor nutrition or lightning/strobes. Kind of one of the reasons I avoid all those crappy shooters... they're pretty bad.
Sucks about the car. I know what thats like, since Epilepsy was the reason I didn't get my license until I was almost 21. All the extra paperwork I had to do for the NYDMV was a pain and I still have to fill out a medical form yearly for them even though I haven't had a seizure in like 8 or 9 years.
What pills are you taking, if you don't mind me asking. I'm on Depakote and I haven't noticed any side-effects. Increased appetite is one of them, but I'm already a fat-ass so I wouldn't notice.
