I noticed I was taking a lot of naps lately and said to myself, "I'm getting old." Not too long before I'm in my 30s too.

I began to attempt this run a while ago but failed. I suck at being really good at games. I liked when I was in my little bubble and was considered as a awesome expert gamer that could complete any game. However these days most games are considered broken if it's not easy to naturally complete them. No Mega Man 2's or Battle Toads anymore.

I can beat 100% of Yoshis Island in under 2 hours, that's about the only game I'm really good at.

it really isnt nearly as hard as you'd think it to be, just have to be really smart about the way you play (obviously for this that goes without saying). helps to go through on 2nd run through game with the solar gun (also emotional ammo helps but isnt needed). there's only really two difficult parts as far as the sneaking aspect is concerned, south america (if you don't know the way) and honestly the crying wolf fight I had some issues with cause I kept having to re-sleep the frogs and they can hear your anesthetic sniper rifle.
I saw a youtube video of some guy doing the crying wolf fight with only smoke grenades and stun grenades...took him like 3 minutes, took me about 10 with bullets (silenced sniper) > solar gun kill outside of the suit. Only other place I had an issue (a non-issue, really) was mantis. you have to be a lot faster than I remember and hella accurate to hit that fkn doll. actually finished this faster than I did on my no kill/alert/food normal difficulty run.
To address your post J-Bone, I think that total must be cumulative through games played. There's no way you can come even close to the time if you watch the cutscenes > flashbacks. I did watch em before though.

I honestly just assumed it was a big number so it was bad lulz. Never played a MGS game.

I can assure you that you're making a terrible mistake. Game is only like $20 now, I highly suggest you buy it.
