I just went out and bought Mass Effect 3 and Fallout 3...Mass Effect I hear is baller and I've never played Fallout.

I enjoyed Mass Effect 2, but I didn't pre-order it and now I think I'm just going to wait for a price break. I know that'll be awhile but I haven't been gaming much plus better weather equals even less gaming.

Also, I loved Fallout 3 and New Vegas. I wish there was more. I never bought most of the dlc's for Fallout 3, I wonder if it'd be cheaper to buy the GotY version.

It was $20 for GOTY edition at Gamestop.

ME3 is kinda disappointing. The story is a mess near the end. You need the dlc character to get the a better understanding about the situation the universe is in. Hope you got it cheap, and who knows, maybe you'll like the MP. The controls are still frustrating to me though.

I realize it's the absolute very beginning but I'm 15 minutes in and not too impressed so far.

The controls seem sloppy to me for whatever reason.

I never liked the controls in this series, it's like you're moving in waist high mud. Straffing sucks, you have a button that does too much context stuff (get into cover, run, jump over cover, roll to the left/right, open a can of tuna). It just sucks.

controls whack but game getting better in general, adjusting from playing MGS HD is a difficult one to any game given how perfect I feel like the controls are for those games. The aiming seems to be extremely forgiving which I actually don't like cause it gives a false sense of collision detection when it's actually needed.

I'm glad I picked this before Fallout. I know that game is going to ruin several weeks for me.

Definitely was confused at first. I take silenced weapons for granted from playing MW3 and MGS, these things ALWAYS know where you're shooting from.

Game is definitely getting better, though I can't say I'm a huge fan of the story. I've read that it's confusing to people who haven't played the first two (i.e. me). I do enjoy the RPG elements of it but imo it's not as flashy as something like Borderlands. So happy it didn't remain as shitty as the opening.

I have 0 fish in ME2 and 3. Apparently if you had a certain type of fish in ME2 and carried the save over to ME3 you'd get a reward at the end or something of ME3. I'm guessing it grows (?) into some rare looking fish and you'd just stare at it for a bit.
